ZUNA SOLAR CUSTOMER REFERRAL PROGRAM
TERMS & CONDITIONS
OVERVIEW:

The ZUNA Customer Referral Program (the “Program”) is offered by ZUNA Solar, LLC (“ZUNA”) and provides the opportunity for ZUNA customers to refer your family, friends, and neighbors to ZUNA and receive cash
(the “Reward”).
DETAILS:

ZUNA will award $250 cash to any Eligible Referrer who refers an Eligible New Customer. The cash reward will be issued to the Eligible Referrer within thirty (30) days of installation of the new solar system provided that ZUNA has received full payment for the new solar system. If you receive more than $600 in cash rewards, ZUNA will require a completed W-9 tax form from the Eligible Referrer.
DEFINITION OF AN ELIGIBLE REFERRER:
To qualify as an “Eligible Referrer,” you must be: (1) a ZUNA customer owning a photovoltaic solar system sold and/or installed by ZUNA; and (2) in good standing at the time of the referral. The Eligible Referrer cannot resell ZUNA products/services and doing so may result in immediate disqualification. Employees, agents, and independent contractors of ZUNA are prohibited from referring their prospective ZUNA customers and are ineligible to receive or share in a Reward.
DEFINITION OF AN ELIGIBLE NEW CUSTOMER:
An “Eligible New Customer” means an individual that: (1) is not currently, and has never been, a ZUNA customer; (2) is not already registered or otherwise known as a ZUNA lead or contact; and (3) gets a new solar system installed while this Program is still active.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE PROGRAM:
Registration for the Program can be made directly with ZUNA by: (1) submitting your referrals via the form at zunasolar.com/referrals (the “Referral Website”); (2) emailing your referral to sales@zunasolar.com; or (3) calling (469)-704-0138. Regardless of how the referral was submitted, should an Eligible New Customer be referred by more than one Eligible Referrer, only the first referral received by ZUNA shall be entitled to the Reward. Referrals are considered active for two years.
PARTICIPATION:
By participating in the Program, you agree that you have read and understand these rules and have not committed any fraud or deception in entering the Program. ZUNA reserves the right to disqualify any referrer that ZUNA determines has violated any of these Rules. ZUNA also reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Program at any time by posting the change on the Referral Website.

MILITARY & FIRST RESPONDER
INCENTIVE PROGRAM

OVERVIEW
​
The ZUNA Military and First Responder Incentive Program (the “Program”) is offered by ZUNA SOLAR, LLC (“ZUNA”) and provides eligible ZUNA customers who are active or retired members of the U.S. military or qualifying first responders the opportunity to receive a cash incentive (the “Reward”) after successful installation of a qualifying solar system.

DETAILS
​
ZUNA will provide a $250 cash incentive to any eligible active or retired military member or first responder who enters into a contract with ZUNA, completes installation of a ZUNA-sold solar system, and places the system into service.
​
Limit one (1) incentive per household.
​
ZUNA will make all commercially reasonable efforts to distribute the Reward within sixty (60) days following system installation. However, ZUNA reserves the right to take additional time if necessary due to processing requirements, verification delays, operational constraints, or other business considerations.
​
The Reward will be issued only after all of the following conditions have been satisfied:
​

The solar system has been fully installed and placed into service;

ZUNA has received full payment for the solar system; and
-
ZUNA has received valid verification of service.
​
Rewards will be distributed using a payment method selected by ZUNA, which may include, but is not limited to:
​

Paper check
-
ACH bank transfer
-
Approved digital payment platforms
​
ZUNA is not required to honor requests for specific payment methods.
​
NON-QUALIFYING EVENTS
​
No Reward will be issued for any project that is:
​
-
Cancelled, terminated, or rescinded for any reason;
-
Not installed or not placed into service;
-
Denied permitting or utility interconnection approval;
-
Abandoned by the customer; or
-
Otherwise not completed as a fully operational solar installation.
​
If a Reward is issued in error prior to system installation or project completion, ZUNA reserves the right to recover or offset the Reward amount.
​
TAX DISCLOSURE
​
Rewards issued under this Program may be considered taxable income.
​
Eligible Customers are solely responsible for reporting the Reward as income and for paying any applicable federal, state, and local taxes associated with receipt of the Reward.
​
ZUNA reserves the right to issue IRS Form 1099-NEC or any other required tax documentation to participants who meet applicable reporting thresholds, in accordance with applicable tax laws.

DEFINITION OF AN ELIGIBLE CUSTOMER
​
To qualify as an “Eligible Customer,” you must:
​

Have entered into a contract with ZUNA for the installation of a photovoltaic solar system;
-
Have had the solar system successfully installed and placed into service by ZUNA; and
-
Be an active or retired member of the U.S. military or a qualifying first responder.
​

Coast Guard

National Guard
​
Qualifying first responders include:
​

Law enforcement officers
-
Firefighters
-
Paramedics and EMTs
​
HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE PROGRAM
​
Registration may be completed by:
​
-
Providing verification documentation directly to your ZUNA sales representative at the time of contract signing;
-
Submitting verification of service through the ZUNA online form; or
-
Emailing verification documentation to discounts@zunasolar.com.
​
Acceptable Military Verification Includes (but is not limited to):
​

Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC)
-
Driver’s License or State ID with Veteran designation
-
DD-214
-
VA Proof of Service letter
-
Military discharge certificate
-
Leave and Earnings Statement (LES)
-
Active duty military orders

NGB-22
-
Military academy appointment letter
-
ROTC contract

Acceptable First Responder Verification Includes (but is not limited to):

Employee or volunteer ID card
-
Pay stub dated within the last 60 days

Signed affidavit issued by the employing agency

Pension certificate

EMS or EMT certification
​
ZUNA reserves the right to request additional documentation to verify eligibility.
​
PARTICIPATION TERMS
​
By participating in the Program, you acknowledge and agree that:
​

All information submitted is accurate and truthful;
-
You have not engaged in fraud, misrepresentation, or abuse of the Program; and
-
You agree to comply with all Program rules and requirements.
​
ZUNA reserves the right to deny, withhold, revoke, offset, or recover rewards if fraudulent activity, misrepresentation, rule violations, or eligibility issues are identified.
​
ZUNA further reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time, with or without prior notice, by posting updates on the ZUNA website.
